Video: Young Laurence Fishburne Reading for 'Apocalypse Now'

Apocalypse Now is an epic war film set during the Vietnam War. The Francis Ford Coppola-directed film just came out on Blu-ray, in both two-disc and three-disc special editions for both the original 1979 film and the 2001 Apocalypse Now Redux version, which is director's cut and 49 minutes longer. Both editions are packed with "lost" scenes, making-of featurettes, and never-before-seen interviews.

One such featurette shows a very young Laurence Fishburne reading for the part of Tyrone "Clean" Miller. It turns out he was only 14 at the time, and he lied and said he was 17 or 18 to get the role. Fishburne aka Morpheus was pretty badass, even at 14.
