Is Mel Gibson the new Mike Tyson? In terms of cameos in The Hangover, possibly. Rumors are swirling that Mel Gibson will have a cameo in the sequel as a tattoo artist. Gibson has had a slew of very public personal problems of late, so perhaps he is using this role to resurrect his public image. It certainly worked for Tyson, changing his image from ear-biting drug user to comedic actor.
The Hangover 2 will feature the main characters from the original movie (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zack Galifanakis, and Justin Bartha) as they take a boys' trip to Thailand.
Gibson has also finished The Beaver with Jodie Foster, although that film does not have a release date yet.
