David Goyer has been chosen to write the next Superman film. He helped write Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and is helping write the new Batman movie as well.
This scoop was revealed by the Latino Review, which also bats down a few rumors: Brandon Routh will not star in the new film, nor will Nicolas Cage (was this really a rumor??). The film is also to be called The Man of Steel.
This announcement comes on the heels of the news that Christopher Nolan was "godfathering" this film. We think this all spells a lot of promise for the franchise reboot.
