'Superman' Rumor Mill

There have been a lot of rumors flying around about the upcoming Superman reboot. Directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan, and written by David Goyer, they are now trying to find the right cast.

British actor Matthew Goode is one name being discussed for the Man of Steel. He previously worked with Snyder in Watchmen, where Goode played Ozymandias. As for Lois Lane, Anne Hathaway is a possibility.

Video: New 'Sucker Punch' Trailer

Here is the new trailer for Sucker Punch, and it looks awesome! Described as a fantasy action film, it was written and directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen). It features a girl named Baby Doll (Emily Browning) who is sent to a 1950's mental institution. She begins escaping into her imagination, and she is joined by her friends from the asylum. As the lines between dream and reality blur, the girls' real life escape route may be presented to them in their fantasy world. The film also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, and Jena Malone. It is set to hit theaters March 25, 2011.

Zack Snyder to Direct New 'Superman' Movie, Bringing Back General Zod

Zack Snyder is officially the new director of Superman reboot Superman: The Man of Steel. Producer Christopher Nolan was meeting with possible directors last week, and announced his decision today. Snyder (300, Watchmen, Legend of the Guardians, Sucker Punch) will team up with Nolan and writer David Goyer.

There are also rumors swirling that General Zod is at the center of this project. The villain Zod appeared in Superman: The Movie and Superman II as played by actor Terence Stamp.

Snyder and company hope to release Superman in the 2012 holiday timeframe.

Tonight We Dine In Hell 2: Electric Bugaloo, '300' Sequel in Works

Yes, there will be a sequel to 300. Or rather, a prequel. The prequel part makes sense, considering [spoiler alert] pretty much everyone dies in the first film. 300 director/co-writer Zack Snyder and fellow 300 co-writer Kurt Johnstad have started writing Xerxes. No one has been named as director of the new movie yet, but it seems likely Snyder will again assume that role.

Frank Miller, the writer and artist behind 300, is behind this project as well. He has already penned the six part book, also called Xerxes, which will be released by Dark Horse Comics next year. The story follows Xerxes and his search for godhood.

Zack Snyder plans for Xerxes to have a similar look and feel as 300, so prepare for more strikingly intense visuals, and fierce fighting scenes. I say bring on more super slo mo!
